The School has the state of the art laboratories with modern instruments to train the students in latest technology in all branches of Engineering. Qualified and experienced teachers are our real strength.
The departments of Electronics & Communication Engineering & Electrical Engineering have 10 well-equipped laboratories. The Laboratories of Chemical Engineering are also used by the students of Biotechnology and Food Technology. Laboratories are also equipped with Chemical Reaction Engineering Lab. (CRE Lab.), Mass transfer, Heat transfer, Fluid Mechanics, etc.
Computer Engineering has 21 laboratories having more than 950 branded PCs, and 24 hrs. internet facility with an exclusive LAN, based o n the 3-tier computing model. Besides all the Schools and Departments have separate computer laboratory facilities.

Prof. O.S. Joshi is B.Sc., BE (Hons). He worked in Birla Group of Industries for a long time in different capacities, such as Methods Engineer, Production and Maintenance Engineer, and General Manager for Development and Manufacturing of Precision Machines for grinding bearing races and balls. He was also involved in research and development activities for optimal use and effect of coolant oil on cutting speed of special steels used in the bearing industry.
He also has experience as Factory Manager to Administer and Manage a bearing manufacturing plant, having precision CNC Machines in guiding, inspection and assembly of Ball Bearings.
He has travelled widely in Europe, Japan and USA for technical discussions and inspection of precision machines, instruments and special purpose machines and heat treatment furnaces.
Prof. Joshi has also been associated with ISO 9000 and 14000 certification to the industry. Currently, he is Director of the School of Engineering and Technology at the University. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers (IE), and also a Fellow of the Institution of Valuers (FIV).
