School of Pharmaceutical Sciences

 The School is a centre of excellence in Pharmaceutical Education and Research. It prepares the pharmacists who can take Global Challenges with an ease.

Pharmacy is an integral part of Health Care System. The Seedling Group of Institutions recognized the importance of pharmacy education way back in 2002 before establishing the Jaipur National University in 2007. It started the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (2002) at the Seedling Academy of Design, Technology and Management. The same was made an integral part of the University and renamed as The School of Pharmaceutical Sciences. The School has been approved by the AICTE and the PCI. The School offers B.Pharm., M.Pharm. and Ph.D. programmes. The School has collaboration with institutions of repute in India and abroad.

The School has an excellent central instrumentation facility, equipped with sophisticated instruments. It has a rich library with several thousand books and journals. Its computer laboratory is well-equipped with latest devices. Besides regular classroom teaching, the School has adopted Advisory System for the students who find it difficult to pick up along with other students. The School also arranges Remedial Programmes to improve language skills and the academic performance of the students.

 Dr. Birendra Shrivastava has Master's in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from BIT, Mesra, and Ph.D. from Jai Narayan Vyas University, Jodhpur. He specializes in Phytochemistry and Pharmaceutical analysis. Dr. Shrivastava has published many research papers in journals of repute and he has authored three books. Dr. Shrivastava has been teaching pharmacy for nearly two decades. His experience in practicals of Pharmaceutical Sciences has been highly appreciated by his colleagues and students. Under his guidance, the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences has made great strides in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Prof. Mathew George is Principal at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences. He has been engaged in teaching and research for the last one and half decades. Prof. George has participated in several national and international seminars, and has published research papers in journals of repute. He has published several text-books and articles.
