The thrilling life at University is full of academic and cultural events which keep the students occupied throughout the year. Some of the events that take place in the university are:
The University organizes a Technical and Cultural Fest- “TECHNORAZZ” annually. Around 10,000 students from nearly 100 institutions from all over India participate in the event every year. Technorazz provides the much-needed exposure and platform for an invigorating exchange of ideas and information to the students. Technorazz transforms the students to become strong competitors, capable of coping up with the challenges of the modern techno-driven economy.
Technorazz is a platform for the youth, by the youth, and by the youth, and its main objective is to inculcate a sense of duty, responsibility and belongingness among the students and to develop in them an attitude to take competitions in life in a positive and healthy way. The event features technical as well as cultural programmes. Technorazz has regularly been graced by celebrities like the Indian Idol-Season-4 Fame-Parashar Joshi, and “Rock On” Fame Rock Star Ms. Abhinanda Sarkar of MTV.
Inter-School Sports Meet
The University organized a three-day Rajasthan State Convention of SPIC MACAY in July 2013 in which artists of national and international prominence participated with the aim of educating the young students about our rich cultural heritage and to inculcate in them a taste for our traditional art and culture.
Photorazz, a potpourri of fun and entertainment, is organized at the beginning of the year to energize the teaching fraternity and to provide them a platform to showcase their creative talents.
Photography, as a powerful medium of expression and communication, offers an infinite variety of perception, interpretation and execution. Photorazz started out as an attempt to encourage some of our budding and talented students to pursue photography more seriously. Photorazz is an interdisciplinary activity. Today after two years of its successful organization Photorazz has now become a University level activity.
Faculty Fiesta a potpourri of fun and entertainment, is organized at the beginning of the year to energize the teaching fraternity and to provide them a platform to showcase their talents.The main attraction of such events is the Ramp Walk by the faculty members.
Jaipur National University Marathon
To celebrate the dauntless spirit of 'a woman' and to promote 'Education of a Girl Child', Jaipur National University, organizes "Marathon" for boys and girls every year in the month of March.
International Women's Day
The International Women's Day is celebrated every year on March 8 by the Women's Cell of the University. Last year it was organized by the School of Education in collaboration with the Council for Teacher Education (CTE), to address the issues of women's oppression and gender inequality and to inspire women for healthier change. The School also organized a panel discussion on Education and Women Empowerment.
On this occasion, three women icons were felicitated for their outstanding contributions in the area of well-being of women. Dr. Preeti Bakshi, Executive, Director, Jaipur National University was felicitated with the Most Empowered Lady Award, under the banner of CTE, Rajasthan Chapter, by Prof. Kamla Vashisth, Director, SOE, Jaipur National University. Addressing the gathering of more than 200 women, Dr. Preeti Bakshi said that we need to change our mindset as we are living with a crippling one.

Prof. Asha Kaushik, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, was honoured by Dr. Sandeep Bakshi, Chancellor, Jaipur National University. Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Kaushik said that the issues of women are social and need joint efforts by both men and women for redressal.
Prof. Veena Agrawal, Head, Dept. of Sanskrit, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, was honoured by Prof. H.N. Verma, Vice-Chancellor.
Run For Roses Inspiration to Speak English
"It is Roses and Roses all the way… " the fragrance of the beautiful roses merges with learning during this campaign. The week is a million dollar opportunity for the students to practice their communication skills. The students are motivated to speak to their friends and teachers only in English for the entire week so as to enhance their communication skills.
Students are rewarded with roses on a rosy evening at the Open Air Theatre. Last year, eight students were identified as winners, one from each section of B.Tech. Ist year.

Every year, the first year students of the Schools of Law & Governance, Life Sciences,Education, Business & Management and Engineering & Technology take active part in the green plantation campaign at the Jaipur National University Main Campus. Every newly admitted group of students is made the guardian and mentor of the saplings planted by him/her.
