ICICI Foundation, a CSR arm of ICICI bank is implementing number of development projects in various states of the country. The Foundation is putting its efforts on Skill Development through its skill building trainings. In one of its training programs, Deepak Kumar Yogi, Assistant Professor from School of Social Sciences was invited by as a resource person to deliver two sessions on Rural Entrepreneurship. The training program was organized for rural women at Vijaysinghpura village of Chomu. Jaipur. The training program is on improved agriculture and more specifically about vegetable production and marketing. Duration of the training program was 15 days in which regular sessions were taken by the trainers. Two special sessions were devoted to the Rural Entrepreneurship in the schedule of training program. These sessions were delivered by Deepak Kumar Yogi. During the sessions Deepak Kumar Yogi briefed the trainees about the available opportunity for starting rural enterprise and scaling up the existing one. Session was chaired by the local elected Panchayati Raj Representative who appreciated the initiative taken by the Foundation in his village. Paramveer Singh, Development Officer thanked Deepak Kumar Yogi for the sessions at the end of the program.
