A guest lecture on Current research trends in Bio-Sciences & Biotechnology and Rejuvenation of wastewater was organized by School of Engineering and Technology on 17th Oct., 2018. The lecture was delivered by Dr. M.R.R. Prasad an Eminent Scientist, ISRO and Colleague of late Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. Dr. Prasad interacted with the students of B.Tech Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Food technology and M.Sc Chemistry. Dr. Prasad focused on the currents research made in the field of Bio-Sciences and Biotechnology. He explained how our brain works, role of microorganisms in human health, eyes as powerful camera, genetic similarity between human genome and genome of banana. Beside this he also shared his experience from ISRO where he was involved in launching of PSLV C-42 and in-depth explained how India is leading in the field of launching the satellites which is the milestone in the history of Indian satellite program. .
