Women’s Day Celebration

International Women's Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. This day brings many things for women – a cause for celebration, a reason to pause and re-evaluate a remembrance, an inspiration and a time to honor, loved and admired. To honor womanhood, School of Computer & Systems Sciences celebrated the International Women’s Day on Saturday, 7th March 2020 in the Media Auditorium, SADTM Campus.

The Event started with great jubilant response of all the female faculty members and students.

The event was enthusiastically hosted by BCA Students Vaibhav Dangayach and Nitya Sharma.The talented students presented mesmerizing cultural events such as dances, play and sing songs, etc.

Students of BCA-IV Semester presented a skit on the topic of FEMALE FOETICIDE. They articulated that each member of the society has to take a strong decision to fight against this evil and welcome the birth of a girl child.

The program ended by vote of thanks by Dr. BlessyThankachan, Assistant Director, School of Computer & Systems Sciences. Further she said, gender equality is very important for a healthy society. She encouraged the students for their laudable performances.
