Farewell Party Rukhsat - 2017
The students and faculties, School of Education organized a farewell party “Rukhsat-2017” on 22nd April, where junior students of B.A. B.Ed., B.Sc. B.Ed., B.S.T.C., B.A., B. Ed. and M. Ed. bade adieu to their senior outgoing students in an emotionally surcharged atmosphere. The function was started with lighting the lamp and the floral welcome of chief guest Prof. Amit Garg, Hon’ble Pro Vice- Chancellor, Jaipur National University.
The spectacular evening started at 3.00 pm with a ‘Welcome Speech’ by The Director. She also charged the atmosphere by her poetic expression with farewell fervor. She appreciated the acts and endeavors of senior students. The chief guest of the day was Hon’ble Pro vice- Chancellor, Jaipur National University. He made a call to the students to transform the world to a just, peaceful and progressive society.
Students presented a very entertaining cultural programme. The events of the day long program were narrating their experiences in the form of verse and jokes, dance, guitar recital and singing of songs. Each senior student was given an interesting task to perform. The highlight of the programme was distribution of different tags and titles and some exciting games which added fun and life to the party. It was followed by distribution of prizes. The Director felicitated students with mementoes as a token of love and appreciation. Prizes for the best performance in multi dimensions activities were coined by Sangita Dey, Ozra Parveen, Raina Bibhuti, Utkarsha, Minu Paul, Priya Singh, Chakresh, Akram, Rabiya, Prakash Meena, Dimple.
The reflections of senor students were heart touching and meaningful. They expressed that “Today is a milestone for each of us and we owe gratitude to the JNU and venerable faculties for preparing us as competent teachers and good citizens.” They also conveyed thanks to Hon’ble Chancellor for creating this hub of knowledge and learning. The faculties felicitated the students with good wishes for a bright future. The function was concluded with a sumptuous dinner and mixed feelings of heavy heart and ecstasy.
