A guest lecture was organized on the topic “Career prospects for Food Technologist in Bakery Industries in India and Abroad” on Monday, 15th April, 2019 by Department of Food Technology. Students of B.Tech Food Technology (IV & VI semester) attended the session.  It was an interactive session which proved a boon to students to know about various career opportunities of a food technologist as well as they came to know Role & Responsibilities of Food Technologist in bakery industries in Middle East countries.

The guest speaker was Mr. Amit Kocher, who is Alumni of the Department of Food Technology (Batch 2007 – 2011) and currently working as Quality Assurance Manager, Maestro Pizza (Daily Food Company), Riyadh, Saudi Arabia with more than 7+ years of experience. Speaker spoke about his endeavors and life experiences and appraised students about the various opportunities of food technologist in food industries.
