B.Sc. Clinical Dietetics is an undergraduate program that focuses on the study of nutrition and its relationship with human health. This program is designed to prepare students for a career in clinical dietetics, where they will work as experts in the field of nutrition, helping people to manage various health conditions and diseases through dietary interventions.

6-Month Dietetics Internship: The essence of internship is experiential learning and integrative. Specifically, the internship will ensure that students demonstrate and develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills as well as management competencies in applied, experiential settings. This practical learning experience as an important component of the internship will require students to draw upon, apply and synthesize knowledge, and skills covered throughout the B. Sc. Applying for Admissions 2022-23

B.Sc. Clinical Dietetics or Bachelor of Science in Clinical Dietetics is an undergraduate Nutrition and Dietetics course. The primary role of this course is to design nutrition programs to improve or maintain the health of patients. Clinical dieticians provide medical nutrition therapy to patients in institutions such as hospitals and nursing care facilities. They assess patients’ nutritional needs, develop and implement nutrition programs and evaluate and report the results. They confer with doctors and other health care professionals in order to coordinate medical and dietary needs. Some clinical dieticians are specialized in the management of overweight and critically ill patients, such as those with renal (kidney) disease and diabetes. In addition, clinical dieticians in nursing care facilities, small hospitals, or correctional facilities may manage the food service department.

The basic eligibility criteria for pursuing B. Sc. Clinical Dietetics program is a pass degree in Higher Secondary Examination or 10+2 in Science stream with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized college or university.
