Final year students of B. Sc. Nursing program visited the Anganwadi of Sankh village and have done the anthropometric measurement and nutritional assessment to find out the nutritional imbalance and other minor ailments. Based on the assessment health education was given to Anganwadi worker and the mothers of the children. Emphasized the importance of personal hygiene, balanced diet, how to identify the nutritional deficit and immunization. The students visited local school for creating awareness about health, adolescent education, nutrition, first aid etc.
