On January 21, 2025, an insightful lecture was conducted by Mridul Gautam and Hitakshi Vijay, esteemed alumni of the 2019 B. Tech Biotechnology batch and currently Junior Research Fellows at the National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS), Bengaluru. Mridul and Hitakshi elaborated on the diverse scopes within biotechnology, both in research and industry. They highlighted the importance of pursuing higher studies and engaging in cutting-edge research to make significant contributions to the field. Additionally, they discussed the growing demand for biotechnologists in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, agriculture, environmental science, and healthcare.
