The students of the School of Social Design recently visited Goodwill Impex Limited, a leading export house specializing in garment manufacturing. During the visit, students gained hands-on knowledge of the manufacturing process, from fabric layering to stitching, observing the operation of different machines. They also learned about the intricate process of attaching buttons, accessories, and government-mandated export materials, including tags and care labels. Witnessing the finishing and packaging processes provided insight into the final stages of garment production.
