The Department of Food Technology at Jaipur National University organized an insightful seminar on "Career Prospects in Govt. Sector" on the 24th December, 2023. The event was graced by Mr. Naresh Kumar Sharma, an esteemed Food Safety Officer from the Department of Food Safety, Government of NCT of Delhi.
Mr. Sharma commenced the session by shedding light on the significance of understanding the core concepts of food technology. He elaborated on the plethora of opportunities available for graduates in the field of food technology within the government sector. He highlighted the potential roles such as Food Safety Officer, Food Inspector, Food Analyst and Technical Officer that are accessible to individuals with a background in Food Technology. He motivated the attendees to appear and clear Govt. Exam and pursue careers in Government agencies related to Food Technology, including FSSAI, Agmark, Central Food Labs, BIS, FCI, among others.
