Topic: Sensitization on organ donation
The Session on organ donation was organized in joint collaboration of JNUIMSRC with Mohan Foundation. The aim of the programme was to sensitize the students and staff about Organ donation. Organ donation is all about giving life – life that only YOU can choose to give to help the thousands of patients waiting for an organ or tissue transplant. Be a Rainbow in someone else’s cloud.
The session was taken by Dr Sanjana Bhojwani, Head Dept of Outreach Services at Santokba Durlabhji Memorial Hospital. She has been working at SDMH since last 12 years and is associated with Mohan Foundation since a long time. She is a philanthropist at heart and has been actively associated with social causes. Dr Bhojwani is very passionate about organ donation and has been delivering talks at many institutes sensitizing the people about organ donation. She was welcomed with a Pot of bamboo shoots and felicitated with a memento. The students appreciated the session and pledged to fill the organ donation form.
