The activity on “Inter-School Plant Pot Making Competition” was organized by GO GREEN ECO GREEN CLUB, SCHOOL OF AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES, JAIPUR NATIONAL UNIVERSITY, JAIPUR (RAJ.) on 30th March, 2024. The competition aimed to foster creativity, promote environmental awareness, and provide a platform for students to showcase their talent in sustainable practices by using eco - friendly waste material. The event was meticulously coordinated by Dr. M.K. Jangid, Asscoiate Professor and Dr. Deepika Sharma, Assistant Professor who oversaw the planning, execution, and evaluation phases of the competition. Their expertise and dedication ensured smooth operations and adherence to the competition's objectives. A total of 40 participants from all Schools of Jaipur National University participated in the competition, each bringing their unique perspective and creativity to the event. The competition format allowed participants to create plant pots using sustainable waste materials and innovative designs within the designated time frame. The significance of the competition was further underscored by the Prof. (Dr.) R. K. Bansal, Director, School of Agricultural Sciences, who announced the results. This added prestige to the event and highlighted the importance of promoting environmental awareness and sustainable practices. The “Inter-School Plant Pot Making Competition” was a resounding success, thanks to the enthusiastic participation of students, the diligent coordination by event organizers, and the fair judgment by the Judging Committee. The competition served as a testament to the creativity and commitment of the younger generation towards environmental conservation and sustainability.
