Industrial visit to D S Group (Dairy Division)

Students visited to D S Group (Dairy Division), Sikar, Rajasthan and learned about the manufacturing of milk, butter, ghee, milk powder, curd, butter milk and observed the processing steps like receiving, clarification, standardization, homogenization, pasteurization, filling, packing and dispatch of milk products. Students observed the use of machines and equipments like pasteurizer, homogenizer, cream separator, spray dryer, blender, mixers, retort, cold storage, incubators, refrigerated vans etc. They also observed the hygiene, cleanliness and food safety features of the Industry.
