M.Sc.(Ag) Horticulture is two year post-graduate programme that can be pursued after completion of graduation in agriculture. This program is designed to give students a thorough understanding of horticultural science and deals with the topics such as plant cultivation , plant breeding , management techniques, quality assurance and marketing. A candidate also gets aquainted with eco-friendly practices of producing fruits, vegetables and flowers.

Learning Perspective:

The students will develop sound knowledge in the agriculture and allied sciences required to solve common problems in management of Horticultural crops. Develop good learning environment for selection of professional careers in government and private organization, agro-based and food industries, educational/research and extension institutes.Post Gratuation in Agriculture with specializaton in Horticulture curriculum involves an intensive theortical and practical work for three semesters followed by research work in the IV semester.
