M.Sc.(Ag)Agronomy is two year post-graduate programme that can be pursued after completion of graduation in agriculture. During the course tenure the students get acquainted with knowledge and skills needed to develop sustainable agriculture practices, increase agricultural productivity, and address challenges facing the agriculture industry, develop an understanding of communication methods, resources utilization, cultivation of crops, management of crops and value addition of agricultural produce.

Learning Perspective:

The students will develop sound knowledge in the agriculture and allied sciences required to solve common problems in management of crop cultivation. Develop good learning environment for selection of professional careers in government and private organization, agro-based industries, educational/research and extension institutes. Post Gratuation in Agriculture with specialization in Agronomy curriculum involves an intensive theoretical and practical work for three semesters followed by research work in the IV semester.
